This role supports the Controlling Manager by analyzing business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and enabling data-driven decisions. You'll work closely with key functions across the business, developing strategic insights and ensuring financial targets are met.
Description
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to support business planning and commercial decision-making, offering insights to improve revenue quality, cost efficiency, and profitability.
- Assess key cost components and evaluate various business and operational models to enhance productivity and optimize cost structures.
- Act as a strategic finance partner, fostering strong, collaborative relationships with business units and providing actionable recommendations.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts, and monitor performance against targets.
- Collaborate with business functions to develop investment proposals, evaluate cost-benefit outcomes, and ensure effective ROI management.
- Maintain and oversee costing systems to ensure data accuracy for timely and reliable reporting.
- Independently lead business case analyses and present findings for management decision-making.
- Partner with the Compliance Team to ensure adherence to internal control policies and processes.
- Build financial models and tools to convert data into actionable insights and improve analysis efficiency.
- While the role has no direct reports, it requires strong influence and collaboration skills to drive outcomes across functions and teams.
A Successful Controller Should Have
- 6-8 years of experience in financial/management accounting or controlling, preferably within MNCs or the logistics sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Able to influence across functions without direct authority.
