Role Purpose
• To handle sample development stage from receiving a sample request until deliver the sample to requester, including all relevant steps including developing sample follow given SOP, sending the sample to TAS for sew-ability test, and making of relevant reports.
• To handling interlining/trim product quality test/report and overseeing interlining sample room
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
Key accountability:
NPI/NPD:
• Work with manufacturing team to develop products in line with customer requirements.
• Liaise with other department for all new product development/introduction sample request to be developed within budget time.
• Work with superior and production personnel to analyse trend of product performance and aim to continually improving the performance of product/process quality.
• Work with sales/TAS and customers to identify areas where improvements are required.
• Follow up and create/review SOP for product realization.
INTERLINING:
• Provide interlining/trim product specifications update to QA/Lab/Production/Sale/TAS,
• Plan, organize and implement customer required tests and reports for interlining/trim products
• Deal with internal quality issues raised by all levels of the organisation in addition to issues raised by external suppliers, customers and regulatory bodies.
• Write management and technical reports and customer' required reports.
• Update Global/CPP specification, testing methods, check sheet.
• Monitor performance.
• Oversee interlining sample room
Common accountability:
Safety & Housekeeping
• Follow Company Health and Safety regulation
• Ensure all accidents/incidents and near miss are reported immediately.
• Actively look for areas where safety can be improved to report to relevant people.
• Maintain standards for housekeeping
Quality:
• Ensure material meet specifications.
• Ensure products sold are meet specifications included products produced in house and imported.
• Ensure testing results accuracy and on time.
• Work with sales and manufacturing teams to reduce customer complaints by doing corrective action and preventive action.
INTERLINING - Samples management:
• Manage stock of interlining from SR (Sample Room)
• Provide samples/data sheets to SALE or customers as requested
• Proposed Plan to fill up samples
• Maintain standards for housekeeping
INTERLINING - Testing and recommendation
• Receive new fabrics or current interlining samples from SE or Customer to test properties and recommend alternative items.
• Receive current fabrics and interlining from Customers to study and advise correct items to solve problems.
• Make testing reports for Customers as requested.
INTERLINING - Training
• Set up internal trainings for our sales team and external training for Customers as requested.
• Frequently update new technical information, data sheets and innovative items from Permess to sales team.
INTERLINING - Auditing
• Pay visit and organize fusing machine audits as requested.
• Make audit report and give technical recommendations.
Reports
• Stock of Sample Room monthly report
• Testing report
• Audit report
• Training report
• Maintenance report (for Lab equipment and fusing machine)
• Sending weekly and monthly report on time.Essential
• College/university graduated
• Have knowledge about ISO standards, Oeko-Tex, IATF16949, ...
• Good management skill, able to get the best out of all the team
• Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
• Ability to work in a systemized methodical manner.
• Ability to present reports in a clear and concise fashion.
Desirable
• Good technical knowledge of thread production.
• Have the knowledge and experience about Yarn, thread.
• Have the knowledge and experience about inspection and testing lab, testing requirement, testing method, testing equipment.
