Job Purpose

- Overview and manage all environment, chemical management system and Corporate Responsibility activities in Hung Yen.
Key Result Areas
1. Manage Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• Ensure that all the legal requirements for environmental and discharge are known and adhered to.
• Ensure all reporting to Group and local Environmental Protection Bureaus are correct and timely.
• Ensure all environmental certifications, renewals and approvals stay current and updated.
• Manage and lead all environmental initiatives and projects in alignment with global strategy including but limited to ZDHC wastewater testing.
• Ensure proper representation of Coats at any related government meetings.
• To conduct cross internal audit of EMS to unit.
• Manage, analyse Sustainability data for performance tracking and coordinate with relevant departments for improvement and target delivery.
• Manage ISO 14001, ISO 50001 system.
• Train sustainability, environment and compliance to employees.
2. Manage Chemical management systems (CMS):
• Have updated Chemical inventory list.
• Effective Hazardous Chemical and Hazardous waste management.
• Ensure effective chemical storage, labelling, and handling are undertaken.
• Ensure MSDS' are all updated, correct, and stored in proper locations.
• Ensure Chemical and Material Restricted Substance Lists (CRSL and MSRL) are valid and action plans for replacement of chemicals are undertaken if necessary. Coats restricted chemical list = what we promise to our customers - MRSL = Material restricted chemical list = what we require from our suppliers.
3. Corporate Responsibility:
• Drive Internal CR audit and CAP customer action plans: result is improvement in internal compliance KPI.
• Undertake Brand audits and drive CAP in conjunction with Brand to ensure compliance with Brand requirements.
• Undertake Supplier audits and drive CAP in conjunction with Suppliers to ensure that the suppliers are fulfil Group requirements.
• Handle customer requests related to RSL commitments, surveys, questionnaires at timely manner.
• Coordinate Supplier Code audits and work with procurement to implement effectively.
• Coordinate external compliance and environment audits both for Group and NGO's, and government departments. Lead associated action plans to completion and make sure that we pass any eventual audit.
• Brands data/information reporting and feedback, including Higg FEM, FDM; SLCP, EMeRet, IEEM, CIL verification, etc.,
• Handle certification audit such as GRS, BCI, Oeko-tex etc.,
• Ensure the on-time and accurate sustainability report to Group.
• Organize CR training for Company suppliers and Company internally.• Bachelor degree in a Business or technical fields. Engineering or environmental related degrees preferred.
• Having certification as Lead for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001/ internal system auditor is a plus.
• Min 2 years of working experience in managing / leading team
• 4 years of prior compliance experience management experience in environmental, manufacturing area in medium to large scope
• Experience working in Multi-National Company
• Knowledge and experience for Social Compliance and Environment auditing systems development and deployment, and chemical management knowledge.
• Experience understanding, applying and explaining environmental related laws and regulations.
• Experience preparing narrative reports.
• Strong influencing and consensus-building skills
• Charting and trend analysis skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally to understand and resolve compliance challenges
• Leadership and ability to lead people, convince/impact others
• Self-starter with good communication skills,
• Proficiency in English both speaking and writing,
• At least 3 years' experience in Social Compliance and Environment auditing. Knowledge of the local and national legislations. Good communication skills within all levels of the organisation, externally and internally. Ability to think logically is a pre-requisite.Thưởng
