Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control and Assurance:
● Conduct thorough testing of commerce products to identify and resolve defects.
● Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
● Ensure all product releases meet the highest quality standards.
Test Management:
● Manage the entire testing lifecycle, from planning to execution and reporting.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality processes.
● Utilize automated testing tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Defect Management:
● Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
● Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects.
● Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
Process Improvement:
● Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
● Implement best practices for quality control and assurance.
● Provide training and mentorship to junior QC team members.
Reporting and Documentation:
● Generate detailed test reports and quality metrics.
● Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and quality standards.
● Communicate quality issues and status updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education:
● A degree in an IT background.
Experience:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control and assurance.
● Experience with commerce products is highly preferred.
● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Skills:
● Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
● Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
● Experience with SQL.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
● Effective communication and collaboration skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Open mindset and willingness to learn.
Additional Requirements:
● Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
● Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Javascript, Selenium) is a plus.
● Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
