Job Overview
We're seeking a skilled SEO Content Writer & Editor who understands the furniture and home improvement market. You'll create compelling content that speaks to woodworkers, DIY enthusiasts, and home decorators looking to upgrade their furniture projects. This role involves both writing original content and managing freelance writers to ensure all content meets our quality standards and drives customer engagement. You'll work closely with our SEO team to develop content that educates customers about furniture leg selection, installation techniques, and design possibilities while building trust in our brand and driving sales conversions.
What You'll Do
Content Strategy & Planning
• Research customer pain points and competitor content to identify opportunities
• Plan content calendars that align with product launches, seasonal advertisements, and customer needs.
Writing & Content Creation
• Write engaging product descriptions, blog articles, and landing pages about furniture legs, installation guides, and design inspiration
• Create educational content that helps customers choose the right furniture legs for their projects
Team Management & Editing
• Manage a team of freelance writers, providing clear briefs and feedback
• Edit and refine content from freelancers to ensure accuracy, brand voice consistency, and quality
• Fact-check technical information about furniture construction, materials, and installation processes
Performance Optimization
• Work with our SEO team to optimize content for search visibility and customer discovery
• Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and conversions
• Test different content approaches to maximize customer engagement and salesEssential Requirements
• At least 1 years of experience as a content writer or editor, preferably in home improvement, furniture, or DIY markets
• Excellent English writing skills
• Strong editing abilities with attention to detail and fact-checking skills
• Understanding of SEO principles and how to create search-friendly content
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience writing about furniture, home improvement, or woodworking topics
• Familiarity with eCommerce content strategy and conversion optimization
• Experience with content management tools, GG Search Console, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush
