ROLE PURPOSE:

We are seeking a Chief Finance Officer who will play a pivotal role as a partner to the CEO in driving financial performance and ensuring the company's growth and achieving its targets by 2030. This position requires exceptional financial leadership, an ability to provide solutions and insights, a strong business mindset, and a proven track record in scaling businesses.

The CFO will be responsible for the financial framework and set up to expand our presence in Vietnam as well as across legal entities worldwide, diversifying our product portfolio, preparing for different business models, and delivering exceptional financial reports across all channels.

Key Accountabilities

1. Being the Financial Strategic Partner with the CEO to strongly support the business

expansion both in VN and international markets.

Provide strategic financial guidance and propose short-term and long-term strategic business plan which reflect the company vision to grow in Vietnam and abroad.

Define key performance indicators for the company and international dimension to drive business decisions and solutions to growth, costs, profitability, and cash management.

2. Sophisticatedly managing and ensuring the sufficient financial status of HUSK Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment decisions Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health and performance.

Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.

Identify and address areas of risk and opportunity within the organization.

3. Take ownership and leadership in optimizing and building the excellence of the finance operating model.

Continuously build finance capabilities, tools, and skills to increase efficiency and the value add of the Finance team across the business.

Develop talent and succession plans within the finance and strategy department.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements.

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).

• CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and strategy leadership experience, with a track record of success in both commercial and manufacturing industries.

• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Company's Vision

Our vision is that farmers across the world can harness the power of nature enabling their soils to thrive independently of synthetic fertilizers. Farmers choose our products over conventional inputs, as they are better value for money, support long-term soil health, and crop protection, and improve water and nutrient efficiency. As a result, farmers experience increased resilience to climate stress, higher yields, and better income. To achieve this, we develop and produce a range of carbon-based products which enable farmers to transition to regenerative agriculture. Our products sequester carbon back into the soil and combined with natural ingredients help reduce dependence on synthetic fertilizers.

By 2030, we will have developed a portfolio of products adapted to the needs of 10 strategic crops targeting tropical and arid regions, with third-party verified data showing the positive return on investment for farmers along with the progressive reduction of chemical inputs. Our products will be manufactured in Cambodia and Vietnam, and available in 10 countries in ASEAN and EMEA regions where we have already engaged with distribution partners.

By 2030, we will achieve annual sales volumes of 20,000 tonnes, and revenues of over 10M USD, and by 2027 achieving cash flow break-even and top quartile of fertilizer industry standard profit margins.
