ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is to achieve sustainable and profitable sales growth of HMC in assigned area by:
1. Developing people by describing clear work procedure, equipping them appropriate tool, attitude, skill and knowledge to do it well.
2. Developing technics which help current varieties show better performance and train team, farmer to apply.
3. Propose potential new varieties, carry out trial to evaluate, report and develop new varieties.
KPI: Annual Sales Growth and Gross Margin
PERMANENT MISSIONS:
1. Developing people by describing clear work procedure, equipping them appropriate tool, attitude, skill, and knowledge to do it well.
• Participate to documentize work procedures, tools, skills, knowledge, and attitude needed and competency scale to evaluate performance.
• Participate to periodically evaluate, train, coach people above procedures.
• Participate to create strong link between evaluation result and salary increase, bonus, promotion.
2. Developing technics which help current varieties show better performance and train team, farmer to apply.
• Analyse competitors, determine technical gap of current varieties and opportunity.
• Evaluate feasibility and impact to sales of potential technical solution and set priority.
• Plan schedule and materials/tools to test and confirm efficiency of technical solutions.
• Train Sales Sup/Rep, Tech Sup to apply and transfer the technics.
• Form the plan with Sales Sup, Sales Rep to broadcast technics and evaluate result.
• Make visit to commercial field to evaluate/update the technic.
3. Propose potential new varieties, carry out trial to evaluate, report and develop new varieties.
• Gain knowledge of market trend and LVS potential products.
• Analyse portfolio gap and propose wanted list with specification.
• Evaluate feasibility and propose priority of new variety trial.
• Together with Sales Sup, Sales rep plan and carry out trial.
• Ensure trial quality as designed trial procedure.
• Consolidate trial data and make trial report.
• Launch new varieties.
(After launching, return to 1st mission)
Miscellaneous:
• Reports to: Sales Supervisor (administrative), dotted report to Tech Lead (technical function).
• Supervise: Sales Rep (dotted, technical function).
• Internal relations: Sales manager, Sales Supervisor, Sales Representative, Sales office, Tech Lead.
• External relations: Distributor, retailer, farmer, middlemen, nursery.• Strong at farm management
• Technical oriented, result based
• Team leadership skills
• Problem solving with analytical skills
• Available for domestic traveling
• Autonomous, responsible & strong work ethics
• Good Excel, Power point skills.
• English communication is appreciated
Education & work experience required:
• University degree of agronomy, biology, economy or agricultural related majors
