Job Summary

Responsible for engineering to support the growth of the plant including all aspects, functions. Design, develop and implement initiatives to improve the Company's processes and operations to enhance competitiveness and operational excellence. Process improvements, troubleshooting efforts, along with evaluating and developing global standards for manufacturing. Lead lean projects.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for process standardization / procedure / program development.
• Develop or transfer Standard manufacturing processes to plant, which includes the modification of existing automation programs, mechanical systems.
• Provide on-site support to manufacturing for troubleshooting, quality improvements, capability issues, and productivity improvement.
• Continue to drive process improvements through Lean Concept.
• Support technical training to workshop employees.
• Prepare quotation for complete technical and commercial Cutting Tools for customers. Take technical responsibility for the Project's orders (all technical information is clear to the customer before the quotation and after the order is sent). Technical project management.
• Programming for CNC grinding machines, designing cutting tool drawings according to customer requirements.
• Lead product transfers - identify, plan and execute product transfers from other plants.
• Develop new, innovative tool solutions together with customers and machine tool builders.
• Parts cost management - Analyze and optimize production processes.
• Process citation/study is supported.
• Communicate with suppliers (technical and commercial, follow the work assigned to them).

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in mechanics or related major.
• 8 or 10 years of work experience year’s manufacturing engineering experience with Lean/Sigma/Continuous improvements experiences.
• Fully understand Lean manufacturing such as: Safety, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, RCA, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
• Grinding process (CNC preferred) or Carbide tools manufacturing experiences preferred.
• Good verbal and writing in English.
• Strong project management skills and global project experience preferred, PMP Certificate preferred.
• Good command of English, oral and written included.
• Information Technology skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PPT, SAP), Industrial automation information technology software (PLC, HMI, Automatic and monitoring configuration software, AutoCAD).
• Experience in project leading.
• Good communication skills.
• Good responsibility, good teamwork spirit, remain active and positive.
• Independent, self-motivated and ambitious of unquestionable personal professional integrity.
• Lean manufacturing experience/project management experience is preferred.
