Job Description

Overview of financing matters, to be conversant in the various loan agreements which Keppel Land entities have entered into with external financial institutions, procedure on funding requirements.
Liaise with related parties (Finance ground team, Finance/HQ, Business Development Dept,…) to prepare and arrange the periodic forecasted funding requirement for whole Vietnam including capital injection, interco advances, shareholders’ and external loan)
Liaise with the banks and Corporate Finance team and Group Legal in HQ for project financing, including review project cashflow, terms and conditions of credit agreements and relevant documentations such as mortgaged, collateral agreement, corporate guarantee, etc…
Review and propose the optimal loan structure for new funding requirement, for instance, the USD and VND portion, shareholders loan and external loan structure to maximize Keppel shareholders’ interest.
Assist the Finance operation ground team to review their existing credit facilities and structure and propose the alternative loan structure including prepayment and derivative products such as Futures, Forwards, Swaps and Hedging.
Assist the Finance operation ground team to register the offshore loans including the correspondences with SBV.
Negotiate with the banks to obtain the best FD rate and forex rate for all projects in Vietnam
Periodically review online treasury reports including FD rates for all Vietnam projects to maximize the FD returns and ensure compliance with HQ policy and procedures.
Conduct internal audit review to make sure that the Finance ground team comply with the internal policy and procedures, find out any lapse and recommend for better performance.
To be kept updated on the new policy and regulations relating to corporate finance and periodically conduct the internal briefing/training to the Finance operation ground team.
Other ad-hoc tasks.

Job Requirements

5-10 years’ relevant work experience.
Strong leadership capabilities in leading.
High computer literacy especially MS Office Excel for financial simulation.
Analytical and good problem-solving skills and able to work independently.
Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Self-driven and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
