Under the assignment of QC Head, the technician carries out all the tasks related to the sampling, testing of samples and analysis of tests results and other additional tasks in accordance with the quality system procedures and Company’s policy – 70%

Implement technical services tasks of Technical Department, including site support, customer service and support to develop new product of ADCo in coordination with the Sales and Business Development Department and other supporting departments – 30%

1. Quality control (70%)
a. Equipment and Working Environment:
• The technician is responsible of the equipment that he uses. The technician must maintain and clean his equipment and workplace on a regular basis and systematically after each test.
• The technician must do the inventory and calibration plan of the lab equipment when required by his direct supervisor.
• The technician must check his equipment (calibration status, condition) before using it.
b. Sampling and testing:
• The sampling and testing must be done in accordance with all the quality procedures (Frequency, Method, Specifications…).
c. Analysis of tests results:
• The technician must use the appropriate form for each task to be done according to the quality procedure requirements
• The technician must ask the approval of his direct supervisor for each test result.
• The technician must report any problem/mistake to his direct supervisor.
• The Analysis of Tests results must be done seriously and must be checked and report to the QC Head before final approval.
d. Communication:
• With plant manager: Communication regarding QC Production/ Manufacturing All products (QC Procedure)
• With depot manager: Communication regarding QC on bituminous products as per the Company’s Quality Policy
• With customers and sales: Support for sampling and testing for customer and specific project
• With third party lab: Sampling and coordination, collect certificates if needed.

2. Site support, Troubleshooting and Process optimization (30%)
• To establish a technical assistance Agreement and Quality assurance plan with customers.
• To provide technical support & guidance to customers in order to ensure a proper use of our products (handling, storage, safety, efficiency, quality)
• To establish Technical Data sheets for every product mentioned above.
• Keep abreast of and keep the customers informed on developments affecting bituminous products (bitumen, emulsion etc).
• To be a reliable support for customers/distributors to solve their technical problems, enquiries and quality complaints related to the Company’s products in coordination with the Sales and Business Development Department and other supporting departments
• To Visit customers on a regular basis with stronger focus on those with whom potential developments could be possible (new products). To Brief the General Director of those customers who are receptive to or may become receptive to the new products.
• Support testing of sample at 3rd party laboratory
• Make report and do analysis for Technical Services report

3. Support to develop new product
With the support of Technical manager
• Gather information from Road authorities, contractors, project owners, technical institutions on market trends and detect opportunities for the company to propose new techniques

4. Other tasks:
To implement other works within the powers as authorized by ADCO
Support for Implementation of Trials with selected contractors
• Identify reliable partners for the implementation of new company’s products
• Organize trials
• Ensure the success of the trial (detailed preliminary survey, risk analysis, training of the contractor, road/industrial equipment readiness, pre-trials, etc).

Product approvals
• Ensure the product approval from related parties (Consultant, road authorities, project owners, third party laboratories etc).

• Responsible for preparing and updating the Technical sharing practice and site report on regular basis.
