General purpose of the position

The job holder's responsibilities will encompass all plant-related matters, from daily to mid-term operations, including production, logistics, maintenance, and HSSE.

The job holder will guide and coach subordinates in an effective way of working by defining clear roles and responsibilities, managing change to address cultural resistance or knowledge gaps, and transitioning from an informal way of working to a more structured and process-based approach. This will involve eliminating inefficiencies across all functions and departments, ultimately improving the P&L bottom line.

Typical responsibilities
Manage all Operations (Plant) activities, including production workshops, production planning, R&D, warehouse, logistics, projects, security and the factory campus.
Plan strategic production development by managing people, improving machinery and equipment, and optimizing production processes to increase productivity and reduce production costs (e.g., scrap, electricity, gasoline).
Establish a clear and reasonable Operations organization chart to optimize resources. Manage and determine resource needs and plan recruitment.
Plan and ensure training on safety, production and infrastructure management, etc. for workers, and improve management capacity for managers under your authority.
Be responsible for planning production and completing production plans on schedule, based on orders and plans of the Sales department.
Manage the Operations team, optimize production (production orders by shift/day for each machine), review inventory to ensure production progress and delivery plans with appropriate quality.
Develop and improve standard processes and instructions within your scope of function.
Monitor compliance with processes, regulations, instructions, and forms according to GMP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, labor safety, and fire prevention standards and guidelines from the Group.
Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of equipment maintenance and repair plans.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree or higher, with a preference for Engineering.
In-depth knowledge of production, equipment and quality control.
Strong leadership and production management skills.
Proven experience in an international business environment.
Hands-on experience managing factory operations and resolving on-site issues.
At least 5-years of management experience at the level of Department Head or plant manager in manufacturing companies.
Experience in packaging, printing, labeling, chemicals, or plastics is a plus
Native Vietnamese speaker with fluency in English.
