An US high-tech company has an office in Hanoi Capital and expands a potential 6-month project in Thai Nguyen, now it is looking for a Korean - English Translator with attactive salary and benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Attend the final contract negotiations and handing-over process of the assigned projects
- Translate a variety of documents, including but not limited to legal, technical, marketing, and general business materials, from the source language to the target language;
- Follow management to customer meeting to do real time translation from Korean to English;
- Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, format, and tone of the source documents;
- Review and edit translations produced by other translators to ensure accuracy and consistency (if any); and
- Collaborate with the team to address any translation-related queries and provide language expertise as needed
- Have experience in translation is required, with proven expertise in both written and oral translation
- Fluency in the target language especially Korean as well as proficiency in English is mandatory
- Strong command of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances in both the source and target languages
- Proficiency in translation software and tools, such as SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, or similar platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under the deadlines
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all translations
- University degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field;
