Mô tả công việc
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP):
-Process invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
-Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve any discrepancies, potentially comparing information between QuickBooks Online and Cin7 Core.
-Prepare and execute payments to vendors (checks, electronic transferases.).
-Maintain accurate vendor records and files in both QuickBooks Online and potentially referencing information in Cin7 Core.
-Reconcile vendor statements, ensuring consistency with both systems.
-Respond to vendor inquiries, potentially needing to cross-reference information. - Manage Accounts Receivable (AR):
-Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy based on data in Cin7 Core.
-Record customer payments accurately in QuickBooks Online, verifying against payment information in Cin7 Core.
-Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage collections, potentially using reports from both systems.
-Prepare and distribute customer statements, ensuring alignment between QuickBooks Online and Cin7 Core.
-Maintain accurate customer records and files in QuickBooks Online, referencing relevant details in Cin7 Core.
-Reconcile accounts receivable balances, comparing data between the two platforms. - Compare and Reconcile Data between QuickBooks Online and Cin7 Core:
-Regularly compare financial data in QuickBooks Online with relevant inventory and sales data in Cin7 Core to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
-Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found between the two systems.
-Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Sales, Operations) to ensure data integrity across both platforms.
-Understand the data flow and integration points between QuickBooks Online and Cin7 Core.
Manage all other aspects of bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, including but not limited to:
-Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions within the software.
-Reconciling bank and credit card statements.
-Managing payroll entries and ensuring accuracy.
-Preparing financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
-Maintaining organized and accurate financial records within QuickBooks Online. - Ensure timely and accurate processing and remittance of sales tax for California and Florida.
-Staying up-to-date on the sales tax laws and regulations in both states.
-Accurately calculating sales tax liabilities based on sales transactions recorded in QuickBooks Online and potentially informed by sales data in Cin7 Core.
-Preparing and filing sales tax returns in compliance with state requirements.
-Addressing any sales tax-related inquiries or audits. - Assist with the preparation for audits and tax filings.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Collaborate with other team members as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Yêu cầu công việc
-Minimum of three (3) years of proven bookkeeping experience.
-Mandatory: A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online.
-Required: Demonstrated knowledge of California and Florida sales tax regulations, including calculation, filing procedures, and compliance requirements.
-Required: Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
-Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, journal entries, etc.).
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Experience with other accounting software.
-Familiarity with [mention any industry-specific accounting practices or software if applicable].
