General Summary:

As a Quality Control (QC) Inspector- Handbags, you will be responsible for ensuring that all footwear and handbag products meet our company's quality standards and comply with our policies regarding compliance and technical standards.

Primary responsibilities, as seen on a Production Inspector Resume – include but are not limit to maintaining the quality of manufactured goods; inspected goods; examining materials from suppliers before sending it to the production line; inspecting components, and assemblies; performing quick visual inspections; testing and measuring and analyzing products; taking samples for testing; performing inspections; recording pass or fail grade of products. Provide detailed reports, and ensure all products are defect-free and meet customer expectations.

In this role, you will collaborate with the production and design teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.

Based in factory of vendor.

Dotted reports to Director of Southeast Asia Sourcing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect footwear and handbag products at various stages of production to identify quality issues;
• Implement corrective actions to improve product quality and ensure compliance with company policies and technical standards;
• Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to production and design teams;
• Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure products meet quality standards and comply with company policies;
• Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date;
• Conduct final inspections on finished products to ensure that they meet all quality standards and compliance requirements;
• Develop and implement training programs to educate production and design teams on quality control processes and procedures;
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure they understand and meet quality standards while complying with company policies.
• Ensure all operations align with client standards.
• Follow up on technical meetings and full-size production tests.
• Track and manage running changes in production schedules.
• Oversee quality control from the beginning of the production process.
• Coordinate problem-solving for shoe and handbag development and address commercial issues between factories.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of footwear and handbag production and quality control processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in conducting quality inspections and implementing corrective actions in ladies and men shoes, and handbags.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other quality control software tools.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering is plus, Quality Control or a related field.
