Job title – Manager, Technical Expert, Swine

Location – Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Leads the country species segment (swine and poultry) from a technical perspective to provide customer support in formulation (feed and farm) to create additional value for customers and drive technical and marketing campaigns to generate profitable growth underpinned by sales of specialty products and nutritional solutions in Vietnam.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Deeply understands local species markets, customer needs and business drivers. Provide technical support and training to customers, sales teams, and distributors.
• Develop and implement nutrition and health programs to optimize swine & poultry performance. Co-develops the species strategy in alignment with the local markets with regional support.
• Conduct field trials and product evaluations to support the business. Support marketing and sales strategies with scientific insights and industry knowledge. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and technical seminars.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the swine industry. Interacts with local markets to align priorities and to develop species activation plans.
• Engages in account development activities with local key accounts. Identifies opportunities to combine products, services and know-how into differentiated nutrition & health solutions.
• Develops differentiated solution concepts substantiated by technical data and convincing argumentation. Packages solutions into unique value propositions and sales-enabling material. Owns and project manages species-driven innovation projects and regional projects as part of regional fees & grants.

You bring

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). Technical marketing experience of at least 8-10 years in swine/ poultry nutrition and production or health management.
• Strong technical, nutritional and health background in swine & poultry animals. Strong understanding of swine/ poultry industry trends, biosecurity, and disease management.
• Familiarity with marketing concepts, tools and practices in a technical, solution selling environment.
• Ability to translate technical needs, opportunities and facts into business language. Ability to identify commercial opportunities and interact with key accounts in a highly consultative, solution sales approach.
• Ability and interest to interact on scientific levels and establish external profile as an industry expert.
• Business background and interest in commercial business development. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Vietnamese and English languages is an asset. Travelling locally and abroad is part of the requirement.
