We are looking for a results-driven Supply Chain Manager with experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Mechanical Manufacturing Services industries to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This role encompasses purchasing, material planning, warehouse management, and production planning, ensuring seamless coordination across departments to meet customer demands, maintain quality, and control costs.
*Duties:
1. Purchasing & Supplier Management:
Source and procure electronic components, PCBs, and mechanical parts from global suppliers.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contract, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
Monitor component lead times, minimum order quantities and minimum pack quantities, and proactively mitigate risks related to shortages or obsolescence.
Strong communication skills with frequent communication with international customers
2. Material Planning:
Develop and maintain material requirement plans (MRP) based on customer forecasts and production schedules.
Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to align material availability with new product introductions (NPI) and customer orders.
Optimize inventory levels to balance cost, availability, and production needs.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Control:
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, kitting, and dispatch of materials.
Implement inventory control systems (e.g., Lot FIFO, cycle counting) to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and environmental standards in warehouse operations.
Planning of internal logistics
4. Production Planning:
Manage production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery timelines and internal capacity constraints.
Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) and adjust plans to address bottlenecks or urgent orders.
5. Digital Transformation:
Manage dashboard development and analytics for best practice data insights.
Develop ERP improvements providing greater automation and efficiency.*Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Supply Chain experience in an EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, D365).
Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components, BOM structures, and PCBA processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Excellent spoken and written English.
*Preferred Skills:
APICS CPIM/CSCP or similar supply chain certification.
Experience with lean manufacturing, JIT, and Kanban systems.
Understanding of international logistics, customs, and trade compliance.
