* Job Summary:
- Responsible for the handling of group bookings and overall arrangement prior to group's arrival. Assist Sales Manager with administrative functions daily.
* Duties and responsibilities:
- Liaise with Front Office, F&B, and other departments concerned pertaining to group movements booked or in-house to ensure that all areas from a service standpoint are fulfilled.
- Maintain and continually update group control charts.
- Assist Sales Manager in reviewing agents' production and group policy implementation.
- Meet all group tour leaders upon arrival to furnish them with their in-house requirements for their duration and to promote hotel facilities.
- Conduct hotel inspections with local and overseas travel related clients as well as corporate and MICE groups.
- Liaise constantly with local ground agents to ensure that all needs of their groups are met as contracted.
- Entertaining of tour leaders and ground operators to develop a good rapport for future business.
- Assist in gathering statistics in areas pertaining to the scope of the job.
- Maintain, upkeep, and improve wholesaler files.
- Generate and update BEO's as needed to ensure up to date information is available to concerned departments.
- Perform other reasonable job duties assigned by Supervisors.* Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Good knowledge of hotel/resort services and facilities, and departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Strong command of English language and local dialect.
- Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills
- Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
- Demonstrate sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
* Education and Formal Training:
- College standard or good general education.
* Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience.
