Role Description

We are seeking a skilled NodeJS Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of the backend API. This role involves extending and developing a robust, efficient, and scalable API using Typescript, Node.js, Supabase, and AWS S3. You will work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with the frontend and third-party APIs like Bannerbear and fal.ai.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend API using Typescript and Node.js.
• Integrate with and utilize Supabase (Postgres) for data storage and retrieval.
• Manage image storage and retrieval using AWS S3.
• Implement image adaptation using fal.ai APIs.
• Utilize Bannerbear API to generate final images based on templates.
• Ensure the API is secure, reliable, and performant.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in Typescript 
• Skills:

1. Strong proficiency in Typescript and Node.js.
2. Experience with Express and Nest.js
3. Experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres/Supabase.
4. Familiarity with cloud deployment tools, such as Vercel
5. Familiarity with API development and integration.
6. Understanding of RESTful API principles.
7. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git/GitHub.
8. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Frontend frameworks, including Vue.js
• Experience with Backend frameworks, such as Laravel and Symfony
• Experience with Bubble.io
