Your role:
This position is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger by performing all accounting operations including journal entries and reconciliations, month-end closing tasks, and maintaining the GL Analysis. Focusing on Tax matters and tax planning at the company.

- Work location: HCM and Ba Ria Plant

Key responsibilities:

Accounting operations
• Prepare, review, and maintain the assigned General Ledger on a monthly basis, including processing accounting journals and reconciliation (including any standing accruals).
• Responsible on account payable and petty cash member to prepare payment Documents. Ensure travel and expense claims and other payment documents are in line with policies and procedures and local regulation.
• Complete posting of account payable invoices in Exact system.
• Final submission of payable documents.
• Monthly reconciliation analysis assigned general leggers vs sub-ledgers.
• Prepare payment schedule for suppliers and send to treasury member to prepare money for payment.
• Prepare monthly AP aging report.
• Filing documents follow company policies and accounting standard.
• Other analysis as required."
Tax matters.
• Under Accounting Manager, liaise with tax agent on the computation of income tax and the filing of tax returns to the tax authority on time.
• Estimate income tax payable and remit monthly payments scheduled to the tax authority.
• Prepare all reports those are related to Tax (VAT, WHT CIT, etc.) monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Reconciliation Tax’s obligation in both MVG1 and MVG2.
• Compute the income tax and deferred tax provision, prepare analysis for all types of Tax (excluding PIT that is under HR role)
• Address to Management what is the risk on Tax. Utilise available tax incentives and mitigate tax liability.
• Work with Accounting Manager on tax audits/ Inspection and investigations by tax authority with assistance for company tax agent.
• Ensure compliance to tax requirements and obligations.
• Work closely with HR for PIT matters.
• Be responsible to advise other departments/ end users any concerns on Tax matters.
General
• Ensure all processes and procedures are documented, implemented, and maintained as required for certifications such as ISO, FSSC, GMP etc.
• Supervise / manage the performance, development, attendance, and behaviour of staff. Arrange the training courses to develop skills for employees to meet job requirements.
• Ensure aware of and follow employment and legislative responsibilities in relation to safety, discrimination, HR policies.
• To perform any other project, ad hoc tasks or duties that are assigned from time to time."
