We are seeking a (Senior) Engineer, Quality Control to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Lead, Quality Control, you will participate in requirement reviews, develop and execute test plans, identify and report defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent testing procedures. And his/her responsibilities:
• Participate in reviewing and analyzing the project requirement to understand test objectives, provide input on testability of requirements and estimation for the testing activities.
• Participate in product meetings to ensure that engagement work products and deliverables are of the highest quality.
• Develop the test plan, test strategy, and prioritize testing activities.
• Develop manual test scenarios, test cases, performance test s.
• Report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
• Prepare the reports related to software testing carried out.
• Ensure that all test-related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
• Transfer knowledge, monitor engagement team performance, and provide feedback on the team.• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile development, focusing on React Native.
• Skilled in writing native modules for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin).
• Experience with mobile performance optimization tools (e.g., Flipper, LeakCanary).
• Familiar with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) and performing code reviews.
• Ability to modify third-party libraries and integrate with native code.
• Capable of interpreting technical requirements and executing project plans.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Experience in banking/financial projects is required to ensure deep understanding of domain-specific requirements and compliance standards.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to ask questions, analyze issues from multiple perspectives, and identify complex test scenarios that other QCs might overlook.
• Detail-oriented: This is a mandatory and highly important trait. In domains like banking, even a small error can have significant consequences, so carefulness is a top priority.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have
• Performance Testing experience: Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) to ensure the system can handle a large volume of concurrent transactions, especially critical in the banking sector.
• Banking product knowledge: Understanding of products such as credit cards, loans, savings, payments, etc., to better grasp business logic and conduct more effective testing.Training and sharing sessions among teams
