Are you a connectivity expert who is great at managing several projects simultaneously while keeping your head cool? Do you thrive in an environment where you get to work closely with business, product and engineering teams?

As we are focusing on scaling our business offering, we are seeking a Technical Business Analyst in Hanoi with experience from working with 3rd party integrations to be the link between our commercial organisation, engineering teams and external partners.

You will join our Gateway team in Hanoi and together with our Senior Product Manager be responsible for connecting listings to booking platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia through API as well as provide guidelines for partners who want to use Your.Rentals public APIs.

You will have a crucial role in translating business needs to technical requirements and build innovative integration solutions that enable thriving partnerships and top performing listings.

What you’ll do

• Own all deliverables of integration projects, including business needs, technical requirements and certification test reports.
• Collect qualitative and quantitative data to support Product Managers.
• Be the main point of contact for team members to ensure alignment and to remove obstacles.
• Documenting changes to existing business rules and creating any follow up tasks needed to ensure expected behaviour is delivered.
• Be a product expert and provide product support to company stakeholders, to help make problem statements easier to define.
• Support user research process and testing by preparing and implementing data tracking and workflows.
• Hold meetings to inform and align with stakeholders on projects’ progress.
• Implement and prepare KPI tracking data to measure our success.
• Perform UAT to existing integrations, APIs, system features to make sure they work as expected.
• Monitor reports of import/export systems to identify issues. Troubleshoot issues resulting in quote/rates/calendar errors. Provide technical support if needed.
• Provide recommendations and guidelines and work with partners who integrate with us.

What you’ll definitely need

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent related professional experience, with strong computational thinking skills.
• Good English skills and be a strong communicator towards both tech and non-tech members of our company.
• Familiar with reading and understanding APIs, XML, JSON. Understanding of integration platform, product APIs, testing environments.
• Experience with Excel and SQL-queries.
• Good business acumen skills to take ownership of issues and identify new opportunities when solving problems.
• Ability to work independently, also to work across teams to achieve goals and resolve issues.
• A structured way of thinking and a systematic way to break down complex projects into actionable items with clear deadlines.
• Data aware and analytical to understand a challenge while strategically being able to execute based on risk assessment.

What we’d love you to have

• Advanced English speaking and writing skills
• Previous experience in working with business analytics or in similar project management roles.
• Experience with AWS Quicksight or other data analysis tools.
• Experience in a Saas (Software as a service) or other software company.
• Experience in the Atlassian suite
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies and engineering practices.
