In many large cities around the world, it has become quite common for people to either live alone or in a small family, as opposed to living in large extended family households. This essay will take a closer look at some of the positive and negative aspects that arise with this trend.

On the one hand, this trend does have some positive aspects. For example, different generations want and value different things these days. Many young people do not wish to live the traditional lifestyles of their parents and grandparents. Therefore, living alone allows them the freedom to do as they please without having to face constant judgement or criticism. Furthermore, many older people do not wish to live the hectic, fast-paced lifestyle of modern city life and prefer to live a slower-paced, healthier life in the countryside during their retirement. Living alone, or in smaller family groups allows each generation to live their preferred lifestyle.

However, this trend also brings several drawbacks. Firstly, as parents and grandparents get older, they may face a number of physical and mental health problems, and by living alone, they may lack the care and attention they need from their children. Secondly, children will have less interaction and influence from grandparents, and potentially miss out on important life lessons that can be taught from grandparents who have a lot of valuable life experience. Important traditions and customs may also be lost from generation to generation. And finally, living alone, or in small family groups can lead to poor family bonds between generations.

In conclusion, I believe that while this trend does bring some benefits, overall they are definitely outweighed by the drawbacks.

These days, individuals who live in cities prefer to live alone or build a small family. In my opinion, this trend is more negative than positive as such individuals have to deal with some difficulties in their lives.

Despite the fact that living alone leads individuals to acquire autonomy, self-discovery, and personal growth, it might have some drawback which everyone cannot cope them. One of the main disadvantages is that there is no one to share duties with such as cleaning, taking out the trash, paying bills, and doing shopping. Thus, they should allocate more time and energy to do household chores. Another downside of this trend is that in the long term, people might end up with depression as there is no potential roommate to cheers them up when get through the hard time. Therefore, the lack of company makes them feel isolated or lonely. Also, these individuals would face the hassle of high cost of living as there is no one to share expenditure with. For instance, my sister is living in a small apartment and she does not have a roommate so she had to spend a great deal of money for the decoration, furniture, and appliances which could become easier to purchase if she lives with someone else.

Nowadays, women and men prefer to have a small family with a child. this decision not only can affect negatively parents but also children. To begin with, there is no siblings to play with Someone who is the only offspring in a family. Due to this they might sometimes feel loneliness and blame their parents for it. Secondly, Parents try to provide everything from cheapest toys to the most expensive one for their alone children to fill the lack of siblings. This action not only may cause them to bring up spoilt but also increase their expectations from fathers and mothers. Thus, these problems often increase a need of pricy consultation.

In conclusion, I believe that having a small family and living solitary are challenging, and you have to work hard to earn more money to be able to meet high expenses.

In today's society, some people prefer to live by themselves, but some choose to stay with their family members. In my opinion, I choose to live with small groups of family members; whichever choices people make, varies from person to person.

First and foremost, living independently can help a person strengthen their survival skills. This is because living alone necessitates having good life skills such as cooking, driving, planning, and financial independence, or you risk ruining your life. For instance, a person needs a substantial amount of money to pay the rent and electricity bills.  For instance, a person needs a substantial amount of money to pay the rent and electricity bills. In addition, people who live alone have more time to enjoy their "me-time," which could have a profound impact on a person's life as they enjoy more freedom and have more time to reflect on themselves. Thus, one can advance their personal development and become mentally stronger.

On the other hand, living in large family groups will be more lively. Massive family groups are always good for celebrations or parties. To further illustrate, one could have many people celebrate their birthday parties with positive vibes and a good atmosphere, which will give a sense of coziness. However, it seems to have an issue when it comes to space. As more people move in, the space becomes much more crowded, and some family members run out of resources. Furthermore, large families may have disagreements over differing viewpoints, resulting in strained family bonds.

In conclusion, there are several factors why people choose to either live in small family units or extended family groups, all of which have their own advantages and drawbacks. As long as one is comfortable with any of the living styles, this is a positive trend for society.

Nowadays living alone or in small family units is preferable for many citizens in big cities. Hence, there exists a debate about whether the trend is beneficial or not. From my perspective, I am inclined to stand with the opinion that it is negative to society as the condition will raise the social burden.

Initially, one of the main arguments in favour of living alone or in small family units is that the costs in big cities are too high to afford for large families. As daily expenditures like rental fees, food, transportation and so on will be relatively higher in big cities than in small ones, living alone or in small family units is a practical option to save expenses. In other words, citizens have no choice but to possibly limit the number of family members so as to maintain life quality in big cities. Therefore, the tendency is a result of environmental challenges.

At the other end of the spectrum, the condition will elevate the social burdens as ageing care will be no longer a private issue. Because there are more and more elderly who live alone, their health care may become a public problem since they probably have no families. Thus, the government will have to involve more resources in social welfare. Thanks to medical development, life expectancy has been significantly extended which means ageing health care will be prolonged. Furthermore, the plummeted birth rate will threaten the existence of human beings. According to the aforementioned, the situation indeed brings about demerits to society.

To sum up, despite the fact that living alone or in small family units is a wise choice in big cities ,its harmful consequence to the world cannot be ignored. Thus, the authorities need to implement some polio to decrease living costs in big cities so as to stop the vicious cycle.

Choosing to live alone or in small family units is becoming a trend rather than living in large, extended family groups. However, the issue is not completely straightforward, and arguments can also be made against the idea.

On the one hand, those who prefer living alone cite various reasons for this. These range from greater independence to lower financial burden. For instance, many students and professionals opt to live alone because it offers them more flexibility to plan their schedule, lifestyle and social activities without getting interfered with the family members. Moreover, people who are alone are better at shouldering responsibilities than those living with their families. For example, they pay their bills on time, clean the house and take proper care of it. They also learn to take care of themselves. Thus, living alone can bring about many benefits for some individuals.

By contrast, there are a few disadvantages that come along while living alone. First, humans can develop psychological problems such as stress and depression while living alone because our minds find happiness in socially interacting with others which doesn't happen often while living alone. For example, there are many instances in life when we need the emotional support of people who are very close to us such as family members. Furthermore, it can be difficult for one person to do all of the household tasks such as shopping for groceries, cooking and cleaning which otherwise get split among the family members. Thus, there are also a few issues associated with living alone.

Overall, it can be argued that living alone has both merits and demerits. In my opinion, every one of us has the right to lead a lifestyle of our choice. However, we should ensure that our preferences do not hurt our family members and ourselves.

It is not uncommon to see people in modernized regions live by themselves in small apartments. While some believe that the drawbacks of this phenomenon outweigh its advantageous, however, I personally reckon that this is a positive trend for personal development.

Firstly, living on one's own promotes an independent living environment as one will have more private spaces. They will find it more convenient and enjoyable to pursue their passions outside their work arrangement and professional lives, without being concerned that their activities may interrupt other members. For example, some individuals often gravitate towards musical instruments such as piano, guitar or violin, and these types of hobbies can be quite loud. As such, living in a nuclear family eliminates the concerns of having to consider other factors such as the opinions of others or bearing responsibilities for them. As a result, they find extra time to think and spend their own, which is incredibly essential for their personal growth.

In addition, economic security is another major reason for people to choose live by themselves or in small family sizes. Nowadays, individuals play different roles in their personal and professional lives they have perspective responsibilities to carry, and forming a small-sized unit can ease off some financial burdens off their shoulders when someone lives by themselves, or just as a couple, or having only a single child along with them.  For instance, they can easily make extensive calculations of their daily expenses in the house, including electricity bills, water bills or management fees, to how they can manage their financial conditions to provide a quality and decent life for their children. Moreover, saving a considerable amount of money for unexpected future emergencies or events would also be easier for them as they do not have to always fend for other members, which allows them to avoid unmanageable expenses.

On the other hand, the downside of living alone in small-sized units is reduced human interaction. Having a self-isolated lifestyle means that individuals may have no one to talk to when they get home, and they cannot share their feelings over some happenings during the day or have discussions on difficult circumstances. For example, they forgo the constant stimulation and hustle and bustle of a large family and are left to their own devices for extended periods. Instead of having meaningful conversations with their family members, they devote most of their leisure time to binge-watching episodes or surfing the internet relentlessly. Therefore, this may weaken the bonding with loved ones and create a sense of isolation.

In conclusion, I believe that leading an independent life in a nuclear family encourages the development of a person's passion and a better financial arrangement towards a high living standard, even though such a lifestyle may weaken family relationships and promotes self-isolation.
