Summary Of Responsibilities

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

Revenue Management

• Drive market share and revenue performance through effective pricing, inventory controls and mix management across different channels.

• Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.

• Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution

• Responsible for assessing, analysing, and pricing group business strategies

• Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.

• Responsible for providing the commercial and operations teams with clear, concise, and accurate analysis of property data, tourism trends, and market intelligence.

• Update forecasts and reports across all platforms and systems

• Maintaining rate parity across all channels

• Ensure optimal management of inventory across all distribution channels in coordination with reservations

• Actively participate in the weekly forecast and month-end review process.

• Collaborate proactively with Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments to implement growth initiatives.

• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Reservations Management

• Maintain high level of performance within the reservations guest experience, including training and support for the reservations team and liaison with operational teams.

• Provide coaching and development for the Reservations teams to support career progression and growth.

• Pricing and distribution loading across all systems and tools.

• To constantly review room availability to maximize occupancy and revenues.

To constantly review actual vs forecast to establish pick-up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to assist in the forecasting process.

To be proactive and re-align selling strategies to achieve forecasted goals as and when necessary.

• Drives a culture based on delighting reservations’ customers through efficiency and quality in handling of their inquiries.

• Analyse in detail the key performance indicators for the call centre including conversion, average call time, abandon rate, call quality and guest experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of hotel Revenue Management experience in similar capacity

• Self-motivated, result-oriented, resourceful and possesses leadership qualities

• Possesses strong organizational and analytical skills, with strong commercial acumen

• Is detail-oriented with the ability to translate results into understandable and actionable information

• Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skill
