Purpose of the role:
The Group Finance Manager is accountable for the financial well-being of the Alina Vision group. Working closely with AV’s CEO and COO, as well as the AV hospital/s Accounting team/s, the Group Finance Manager will be responsible for accurate and timely financial planning, accounting, management, process & cost optimisation and reporting of the business’ finances, as well as ensuring consistent compliance with both internal and external requirements.

The Alina Vision Group Finance Manager will:
1. Work with the hospital team/s to develop and undertake financial analysis and reporting, in order to understand and continuously improve business performance as well as to plan new initiatives;
2. Line manage the hospital accounting team/s, to ensure all hospital entity financial requirements are met
3. Work with the AV Leadership Team to develop and undertake financial analysis and modelling, for both budgetary and planning purposes, as well as to enable external investment in support of growth plans;
4. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all budgeting, reforecasting and reporting processes, and utilise required group systems (Misa and SUN);
5. Lead and ensure compliance to all internal and external finance requirements, including group policies, global tax, annual audit as well as all statutory obligations;
6. Undertake required bookkeeping, payment processing, bank reconciliation and accounting for the AV group entity itself (minimal transaction volume);
7. Undertake financial risk screening, constantly monitor sensitive areas and implement measures to reduce risk (if any).
8. Perform the analytical review on the financial data to support the optimization of the business performance and suggest the recommendation.
As an executive team member, the Group Finance Manager will also:
9. Work closely with the CEO to set the AV Group strategy, optimise the business model, grow the network, as well as support fundraising and investor / funder relations;
10. Provide input and work collaboratively with other leadership team members to enable whole-of-business target achievement; and
11. Build AV’s organisational culture, ensuring team members thrive and organisational outcomes are met.
