*JOB SUMMARY
The Senior SysOps Engineer is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of server hypervisor/hardware and Operating systems; networking and security; Application, Web and Databases system.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Network and Security:
- Develop and maintain LAN, WAN, Site-2-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, HA and DR architecture.
- Manage all network/security devices/system in line with the security requirement and policy.
- Maximize network security and reliability by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and optimization.
- Secure network by establishing and enforcing ACL policies and defining and monitoring access.
System:
- Provide expertise and support for Hardware, Hypervisor, Unix and Microsoft technologies (AD, GPO, WSUS, SCCM...).
- Manage/install all servers (physical and virtual), in accordance with Head Office standards and project/operational requirements.
- Perform daily monitoring/administration.
- Apply OS patches, upgrades and standardize/harden on a regular basis.
Database and Application:
- Install, configure and maintain Database (Oracle, MSSQL, noSQL…) and Core Banking eco-system product.
- Perform HA/DR, tuning and performance monitoring for Application/Web, Database.
- Implement and maintain Application/Web/Database security.
Overall maintenance & management:
- Overseeing all IT operations infrastructure.
- Developing and maintain documentation, policy, procedure and standards in line with organizational objectives.
- Perform daily system monitoring, help-desk Support, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
- Perform regular check of Disaster Recovery Site as necessary.
- Maintain data centers environmental and monitoring Data Center facilities (UPS, Cooling system, Rack, Cable, Physical Access, CCTV…).
- Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to identify and/or apply corrective measures when required.
- Provide technical support to other functional projects (manage project environments, define and setup technical pre-requisites, …).
Others:
- Perform IT Report and ad-hoc reports.
- Perform other tasks as requested by Deputy head of IT department and direct Manager

*REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Knowledge
• Understanding existing and emerging technologies.
• Expertise in Virtual/Hypervisor technology.
• Good knowledge of server hardware, OS (Linux, Windows), network and security devices (Cisco, HP, FortiGate).
• Good knowledge of Core Banking Application, Database Administration (Oracle, MSSQL) and DR scenarios.
• Awareness of Banking Operation.
Behavior

Skills
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English. French is a plus.

EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION
Experience
• More than 8 years working in the Banking industry or related field.
• Security experience is a plus.
Qualifications
• Certifications for Oracle (OCA, OCP), VMware, Red Hat, Microsoft, Cisco (CCNP and/or CCNA), Nutanix, Security (CEH, CISM, CISSP), would be considered as an advantage.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology
Knowledge
