Responsible for leading a testing team to work effectively, help the team to understand the product as well asmanage and develop the team's performance. The role involves test advocacy, resource planning &management, assessing software quality, stability through manual and automated testing
Your role & responsibilities:
Understanding project documents to lead Testing Team to the success of project
Analyze users stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility and reviewtest plandocument and actively provide feedbacks on the task assignment
Develop test-cases and preparing test data
Perform testing of web based and mobile applications
Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks and work with relevant teams to pinpoint root cause and drive issues to resolution, report and tracking bugs found and test results
Communicate issues, accurately complete and submits status reports in a timely manner to supervisor
Mentor and coach junior fellows into fully competent Manual Testing, Automation testing
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Your skills & qualifications:
Graduated in College or University
Experience working in distributed Agile model (Scrum)
Team management and leadership skills, including coaching, supervision, staffing, and conflict management. Ability to coach and motivate team in a quality mindset, self-starting and supportivespiritculture
Ability to multitask effectively and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge about UX/UI is a plus. Has a good UI sense
Can communicate in English (reading, writing)
Familiar with Jira or any popular Project Management tool
Ability to read comprehension and create test cases, checklist in English
Ability to analyze requirements and problems
Have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
Practical experience in Database Testing (MSSQL), API testing (Postman)
Desire to pick up and learn new technical skills
Strong project and time management skills
Be flexible and adaptable with changing priorities
REQUIREMENTS MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience in manual testing
1+ year of prior hands-on experience in automation testing
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and principles
Good experience in manual testing for web-based and mobile (iOS/Android) applications
