A. JOB OBJECTIVES

The person in this role is responsible for managing and executing architectural design projects in the field of building architecture. They will also lead the architectural design team and effectively coordinate with related departments to meet client requirements and the company’s objectives.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Team Management & Operations

• Manage, assign, and supervise the work of the architectural design team.

• Develop overall plans and timelines for projects under their supervision.

• Evaluate performance and assist the Department Head in coordinating team personnel.

2. Design Implementation & Technical Coordination

• Work with the Department Head and Client to clarify design requirements.

• Propose overall spatial design concepts and guide solutions for other technical disciplines.

• Coordinate with Technical Managers and other departments to ensure consistency and efficiency in project documentation.

3. Design Documentation Quality Control

• Monitor the schedule, quality, and volume of design documents before release.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance and consistency.

• Update and archive design documentation, adjustments, and related materials as per internal regulations.

4. Support & External Affairs

• Participate in site surveys, technical meetings, and regulatory presentations.

• Support the Department Head in liaising with clients and government agencies during legal procedures.

• Join internal events, company activities, and support team tasks when needed.

C. AUTHORITY

• Evaluate, critique, and adjust design options and project plans as necessary.

• Assist the Department Head in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

• Propose improvements and adjustments to enhance implementation efficiency.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Submit regular reports to the Department Head.

• Ensure the quality and schedule of all design deliverables under their responsibility.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a similar role at design consulting firms; priority given to those who have led large-scale projects (Grade I or higher).

• Proficiency in:

  • AutoCAD, Revit (required)

  • SketchUp, Lumion/Enscape, Photoshop (preferred)

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Strong leadership, task organization, communication, and interdepartmental coordination skills.

• Deep understanding of design procedures, construction law, and multidisciplinary coordination.
