The Forbes Editor will be responsible for the creation, distribution and quality control of all online content for the brand. Work scope and responsibilities:
Editor
• Manage online content creation and production according to his/her assigned sectors.
• Oversee and manage the editing of all online content, and create content according to the agenda of the editorial board.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings for content creation.
• Be responsible for designated content areas, maintaining the quantity and quality of multimedia content (photos, graphics...), with a sense of agile publishing.
• Monitor to assure content quality, writing style, links and so on, in accordance with regulations or requirements of the editorial board.
• Manage the online content team in their work, including their research, fieldwork, and if necessary being directly involved in interviewing for stories (C-Suite level).
• Be able to be directly involved in the work of researching and ranking Forbes lists. Writing, fact-checking, verifying contents by reporters or contributing writers.
• Work closely with Digital Producer to create content products suitable for multimedia platforms. • Realise any or all additional work assigned by the editorial board.
• Monitor and report on web traffic and engagement metrics and KPIs.
• Keep track of developments and trends in digital technology Host and moderator
• The host and moderator of podcast are the representation of the entire event – Forbes Vietnam Podcast interview CEO, Chairman, etc
Editor
• Have writing, interview and editing skills suitable for all assigned sectors.
• Have a good knowledge of digital content, including text, graphic, photos, video, audio.
• Be conversant with all relevant software and tools in content management system.
• Have at least 3 years experience working as a editor.
• Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Possess a teamwork mindset, as well as be able to work independently.
• Have experience working in the same or similar position is a plus.
• Digital editing skills with an exceptional portfolio of published work
• Creative mind, Attention to detail , Communication skills
Host and Moderator
• Confidence in social and professional knowledge.
• Has a wide network in many fields and industries to proactively invite speakers and connect with attendees.
• Have diplomatic ability, creating a good impression about the image of the Forbes Vietnam brand.
• Professional working style and attitude. Emotive and honest voice.
• Clear opportunities for advancement.
• Equipped with computers and tools for work.
