Passionate about OpenSource and mindful about delivering a good user experience, you will be taking part in writing mobile applications. As part of this, you will participate in the design, architecture, and writing of the following application:
- an open-source multi-platform (Flutter) email application based on the JMAP protocol – TeamMail
- an open-source multi-platform (Flutter) application for connecting to Matrix – an open network for secure, decentralized communication – Twake
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new features.
- Customize modifications to meet current client needs.
- Refactor code.
- Code review.
- Collaborate with the design and business analytics departments.
- Participate in product design and contribute new ideas.
- Design and build applications for mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to define products suitable for the market.
- Design and implement mobile applications using cutting-edge technology.
- Work in a team, utilizing AGILE methodologies, to deliver software on time.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Support international teams in developing products to meet client requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies.
- Coach team members and participate in the technical interview process
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years’ experience in mobile software development (If you have more than 1 year of experience with Flutter, it would be a plus).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of State management approaches.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Strong OO design and skills in Functional programming and reactive programming.
- Good communication in English.
