IMPACT & OPPORTUNITY:
• Incoming Quality Engineer is responsible to create, maintain and perform incoming inspection plan for all purchased materials to make sure that all materials are meet quality requirements
• To support and cultivate a culture of First-time quality and Zero Defects and Continuous improvement
TASKS:
• Prepare and perform incoming inspection plans for all purchased material items which will be used for manufacturing processes. Maintain respective data in the CAQ system
• Define appropriate measurement equipment and devices based on parts characteristics, incoming inspection needs and customer requirements
• Lead the incoming inspection technician to perform item quality inspection activities and arrange the daily works for quality technicians
• Ensure that all existing inspection equipment is calibrated and certified
• Management of the quarantine area and monitoring of status on weekly basis
• Participate blocking or sorting activities of non-confirming raw material together with responsible SQE
• Participate on definition and adjustments of failure catalogues for raw materials in cooperation with SQE, production and supplier
• Lead improvement activities for incoming inspection processEducation: Graduated from University/ College with major is Engineering
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years experienced in the same position, Automotive industry experience or experience in high-quality manufacturing industries is preferred
• Proven record of high level of compliance and quality mind set
Competencies:
• Be an expert in using CMM machine & Microscop machine.
• Personality: Good communicator, Assertive, Drive, Fair, Patient, Responsible
• Must adopt a practical approach towards work
• Must be methodical
• Problem solving and analytical skills - able to analyze data and information from different areas of the business and come up with a summarized conclusion and argument.
• Teamwork skills - able work in a team and in harmony with all team members but at the same time confident of
own skills and opinions.
• English (reading & writing skills): pre-intermediate
• Excellent computer skills, presentation (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
