Position Description
Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV) is looking for a Project Coordinator based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all of ENV’s activities under specific projects and overall ENV programs/campaigns, providing technical support on ENV activities and campaigns, and providing English-language support as required.
Main Responsibilities
• Project coordination, implementation, and management: Coordinate with ENV departments on the implementation of approved ENV activities in accordance with relevant project work plans, or as subsequently assigned by the ENV management board.
• Technical input: Work in close partnership with ENV’s various department leaders and provide technical input on ENV activities, outputs, and campaigns.
• Financial and budgetary management: Develop and manage project budgets and ensure the appropriate expenditure of project funds throughout the project periods.
• Donor coordination: Coordinate and liaise with partners and donors to implement project activities and represent ENV at meetings and workshops.
• Reporting: Produce internal reports, work plans, donor reports, and other written outputs based on the outcome of various ENV project activities.
• English language technical writing, proofreading, and editing: Write technical reports and documents, and proofread and edit all relevant English-language ENV outputs.
• Staff recruitment and training: Assist with the recruitment and training of relevant staff members.
• Other tasks as assigned by members of the MB.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to detail
• Open mindedness and possession of strong potential to quickly learn new ideas and adapt to ENV’s non-traditional way of working
• Ability to multitask and hardworking attitude
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Tổ chức Giáo dục Thiên nhiên Việt Nam (ENV) được thành lập năm 2000 là tổ chức phi chính phủ đầu tiên của Việt Nam tập trung vào bảo tồn thiên nhiên và bảo vệ môi trường. ENV chống buôn bán động vật hoang dã bất hợp pháp và mong muốn thúc đẩy sự hiểu biết nhiều hơn của công chúng Việt Nam về sự cần thiết phải bảo vệ thiên nhiên và động vật hoang dã. ENV sử dụng các chiến lược sáng tạo và đổi mới để tác động đến thái độ của công chúng và giảm nhu cầu đối với các sản phẩm buôn bán động thực vật hoang dã. ENV hợp tác chặt chẽ với các đối tác chính phủ để tăng cường chính sách và pháp luật, đồng thời trực tiếp hỗ trợ các nỗ lực thực thi trong việc bảo vệ các loài có nguy cơ tuyệt chủng có ý nghĩa khu vực, quốc gia và toàn cầu.
Từ năm 2005, ENV đã tập trung hoạt động vào ba lĩnh vực chương trình chính bao gồm phương pháp tiếp cận chiến lược tổng hợp của ENV nhằm giải quyết nạn buôn bán động thực vật hoang dã bất hợp pháp tại Việt Nam. Chúng bao gồm:
• Giảm nhu cầu của người tiêu dùng đối với các sản phẩm từ động thực vật hoang dã thông qua đầu tư vào một nỗ lực lâu dài và bền vững để tác động đến thái độ và hành vi
của công chúng• Tăng cường thực thi thông qua hỗ trợ và hỗ trợ trực tiếp cho các cơ quan thực thi pháp luật, và huy động sự tham gia tích cực của công chúng trong việc giúp chống tội phạm
động thực vật hoang dã• Làm việc với các nhà hoạch định chính sách để tăng cường pháp luật, bịt các lỗ hổng trong pháp luật và thúc đẩy chính sách hợp lý và ra quyết định liên quan đến bảo vệ động vật hoang dã.
