Summary

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Corporate Strategic Priorities, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. To ensure the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Your focus is to deliver an unmatched product and create a welcoming and thoughtful service environment for our colleagues and guests. You will effectively manage hotel projects ensure that the building, machines and equipment are properly maintained. You will coach and develop a fully engaged and inspired Engineering team.

As part of the pre-opening team, you will hit the ground running by following up on handover tasks and ensure that the property is in optimum condition. Moving forward, you will oversee implementation of all property and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitor life safety systems and utilities, and administer the department in compliance with corporate standards and local codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates.

Your Profile

• Has a Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering in international hotel chain.
• Well versed in preventive maintenance, installation and equipment and project management
• Strong leadership skills to coach and manage a highly localised team.
• Good spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
• Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
