Job Description
We are looking for a versatile professional who can take ownership of both Android application development and UI/UX design. This hybrid role involves building user-centric mobile apps while also crafting intuitive and visually engaging interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin/Java
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into functional mobile solutions
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs for Android apps
- Ensure seamless user experience through thoughtful UX design
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Conduct usability testing and implement feedback to refine designs
- Optimize app performance and ensure compatibility across devices
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Android development and UI/UX design
- Proven experience in Android development (Kotlin/Java)
- Strong portfolio in mobile UI/UX design
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Understanding of Material Design principles
- Ability to think from both a developer and end-user perspective
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor degree or above, Master’s degree is preferred
- University requirements (meet any ONE of the following):
- A top-ranked overseas university of equivalent standing (e.g., within the QS or Times Higher Education Top 200).
- For candidates educated in Vietnam, graduation from a leading Vietnamese university such as:
- Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi)
- Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMC)
- Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)
- Other institutions of similar prestige
