• Develops and updates the document control process.
• Updates and modifies stencil designs.
• Required to implement, validate, and balance the manufacturing processes of PCBA's.
• Helps introduce new products, designs implementation production systems, develops layouts, and coordinates changes in the engineering processes.
• Sets up and defines IC T&R activities.
• Required to assist in the design and modification of products on the product line. Such as designing assembly fixtures and tools, and ensuring fixtures and tools are error proof.
• Develops flow charts, control plans, and PFMEA's.
• Required to plan and execute quality improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Assists in managing, scheduling, and budgeting major engineering projects.
• Able to assist in customer and quality system audits. Also, required to solve product quality issues through the application of statistical analysis, and develop labor standards with predetermined guidelines.
• Required to analyze and document, such as corrective actions and Customers Quality System CAR's.
• Able to select and perform CPK's analysis to confirm equipment capability for production.
• Required to identify, expose, and eliminate waste in the engineering process.Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in business or engineering.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Communicate well in English
• Sound written and oral communication skills; must be able to write and understand routine reports, follow oral and written instructions, and speak effectively.
• Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and be familiar with commonly used email, Internet, word processing, databases and spreadsheets, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Experience:
• 'Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics engineering
• 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing industry with strong experience in failure analysis of electronic products.
• Ability to implement, valuate, and balance manufacturing processes in PCBA's.
• Ability to evaluate and understand PCBA designs and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of IC T&R activities, GD&T, SMT and wave solder process, flow charts, control plans, and PFMEA's.
• Knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques, solving techniques and software, core tools, AutoCAD, 6 sigma, SPC, and DOE.
