Job title: Machining Production Planner

Job purpose: This position is responsible for the technical timing of the execution of parts on the machines with numerical control, keeping staff coverage records and the documents for the staff evaluation in Machining, complying with the client's requirements, standards and procedures.

Working schedule:

• 44 hours/week, off on Saturday and Sunday

Job summary:

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for CNC machines based on work orders and required deadlines.
• Analyse technical specifications and determine optimal machining sequences and durations for individual parts.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and CNC operators to ensure workload balance and machine utilization.
• Adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, machine availability, or urgent orders.

2. Resource Allocation

• Track and maintain records of staff coverage on machining lines.
• Identify manpower gaps and coordinate with supervisors for staffing adjustments.
• Support planning of overtime or shift arrangements based on production needs.

3. Documentation & Evaluation Support

• Prepare and manage documentation for staff evaluation in the Machining division, including performance data and competency tracking.
• Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and aligned with HR procedures.
• Assist in maintaining training and qualification matrices for machine operators.

4. Process Analysis & Optimization

• Analyse machining operations based on technological process flows.
• Identify technical or organizational bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in terms of cycle time reduction, setup time, and efficiency.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Skillful in Excel, knowledge about Power BI
• Fluent in English
• Relevant experience (minimum 6 months) in Production planning or another similar field
• Be proactive and be a problem solver
• Willing to support and connect with team members
