Role Purpose:
Based on instruction from CQM and requirement from CMA/LMA, work with other staff of partners to determine and establish procedures and quality standards and to monitor these against agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinate with CQM expert to set-up and then manage the operation of lab in our partner's factory including operation, calibration and service of lab equipments.
• Establish sampling plan, inspection procedure in production lines (including PMD and SMD) based on instruction from CQM.
• Manage the monthly sampling process for chemical analysis, GMO, CPA as requested.
• Provide training to partner's QA on QA procedures/protocols, operation of QA equipment, product quality, fault catalogue, PQRS full version/ light version.
• Provide training to partner's production and technical staff on self inspection procedures/protocols, product quality, fault catalogue.
• Manage the application of PQRS in all SMDs of partners with agreed target.
• Collaborate with relevant departments of partner for settlement of quality issues, recommend quality improvement programs.
• Supervise all QA activities re company brands in partners' facility, to ensure that agreed standards and targets are respected.
• Closely work with company PD and partners for new product (conduct trial run, product analysis, test results, ZPs...).
• Offer support to other activities in SMD such as: technical acceptance for new machine, qualify new materials...
• Inspect income material (if required).
• Cooperate with internal cross functional teams re activities re product quality (market research, customers complaint).
• Supervise infestation treatment (fogging, fumigation, eCO2 treatment).
• Compile daily/ weekly/ monthly report and to prepare reports as per management request.• A bachelor's degree in quality assurance, production management, industrial management, engineering or other field related to the position
• 3- 5 years of experience in relevant work experience is required
• Experience working with Microsoft Office; including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Extensive experience reviewing production activities and capabilities in light of contract quality requirements
• Extensive experience reviewing written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy, and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection systems, including sampling plans
• Extensive experience analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system
• Extensive experience identifying inadequacies and requesting corrective action
• Extensive experience developing novel approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities
• Strong interpersonal skills and extensive experience interacting with internal and external partners
• Excellent technical skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in Vietnamese and basic English (reading/writing technical documents).
