It is true that focusing on working and studying make family members do not have enough time to be close.  That leads to many impacts to their life such as emotions, quality of life and understanding each other.

There are various reasons why people might argue that people do not have time for their family. Firstly, both parents often work full time, hence they spend less time with their children. My uncle family is an example, he and his wife work all day even in the evening, so their children left babysitters or alone.  Besides, nowadays children have to study much at school and less contact with their family members.  I always want to have time with my family but due to studying much  at university , so it is difficult for me to spend my time with them. Working and studying are two main factors make people could not spend time on enjoying life with family.

With these lifestyles, people become much busy and cause many impacts to them. The first effect is gapping between parents and children. When family members do not spend time together, they could not have chance to understand each other and then they tend to be disagree in various cases. Another point is that their children might have negative behaviors. When parents do not spend time for their kids, they will have much time with their friends and then they could learn bad things such as cheat, play games or even nip. Thus, spending less time for family leads to many bad effects.

In conclusion, working and studying are key implements for spending less time for their family which cause various effects for children behaviors and relationship between parents and kids. It would be necessary for humans to try to invest time sharing difficulties and happiness with family members.

In the modern life, there are more and more people spending less time with their family. This essay will examine the major causes and possible influences of this phenomenon.

To begin with, there are several explanations that are worth mentioning about this issue. The first reason is that due to the fast pace of modern life, people are now living a busier one and devoting an increasing amount of time to work. It is increasingly common that people tend to lose the balance between family and clerical work since they usually spend more time at work and do not come home until late at night. For example, due to the heavy workload many workers have to work more than 10 hours a day, and sometimes they are required to work during weekend or overnight to meet the deadline. The rapid development of social media is the second reason for this trend. That parents and children stay together but hold their own mobile phones or laptops to communicate with online friends on Facebook instead of talking with each other is easily seen these days.

This rising issue is having considerable impacts on both individuals themselves and family. First, it is believed that family is where people can share their feelings and problems, which help them to release their stress. However, an individual may experience emotional distress if they do not receive proper support from his/ her immediate family. Second, the bonds between parents and children may be weakened. For instance, when parents do not spend much time with their children, their children will lack of appropriate parental care and attention and are likely to follow a path towards criminal behaviors.

In conclusion, there are two main factors leading to the fact that people hardly make time for their family and not only individuals but also the family may suffer from this trend in both physical and emotional ways.

Currently, many people, especially young adults, tend to pay more attention to other fields rather than to their families. This essay will analyse possible reasons for this phenomenon and discuss several impacts on each individual and every household.

In today’s modern world, recent studies show that younger people are more open-minded and extroverted than older ones, provoking these new generations to escape from their comfort zones and experience new things. Many individuals passionately spend time on outdoor activities, such as adventure sports, voluntary work and travel, which could trigger a distraction lessening their concern for families. Moreover, the rapid innovation of electronic devices, for instance, mobile phones, laptops and touchscreen tablets, and the Internet revolution, have remarkably shifted everyone’s focus from noticing their beloved ones towards various entertaining purposes. Consequently, parents and young children are busy with their phones playing games, watching movies on Netflix, recording videos on Tik Tok and making new friends on Facebook instead of communicating with each other.

This rising issue may provide some notable influences on a person and his family. First, everyone needs a family to count on and receive proper care and advice whenever he encounters difficulties. The inability to maintain family time may lead to severe health conditions such as depression, anxiety, obesity and diabetes. In addition, a chronic lack of parental care is one of the primary roots of juvenile crimes, for example, school violence, substance abuse and robbery, which seriously threaten households and society.

To sum up, everyone must think about their priorities. It would be great if they could balance family commitments and other work. Therefore, I believe it is worth everyone investing time in their families.

In modern society, people have the tendency to spend less time with their family members. From my point of view, this development can be attributed to several reasons and have negative effects on both the individual and their family.

To start with, people’s declining amount of time spent with their family stems from the generation gap and the boom of personal entertainment choices. First of all, the generation gap has been a longstanding problem. Due to a disparity in beliefs between ages, a lack of understanding is born, making one generation in a family feel less sympathetic towards another generation’s problems. Thus, cross-generational communication becomes less enjoyable for all parties. Secondly, more personal entertainment choices are readily available now, reducing people’s need to partake in other activities. While in former times, people could only talk to one another or take part in outdoor activities, nowadays, people are engrossed in unlimited forms of entertainment, and neglecting to spend time with their families.

The tendency of sparing less time with their family brings both the individual and the family undesirable impacts. Firstly, individuals who are not close with their family tend to be more problematic. Children growing up without parental love are more susceptible to emotional problems such as being emotionally detached or having low self-esteem from feeling undesired. As a family is everyone’s basic need, what living apart does is taking away one of life’s necessities. Moreover, with weak ties, families can be broken apart. This is because the basic function of a family is to support each other, without quality time together, this goal cannot be achieved.

In conclusion, the trend of spending less time with family comes from the generation gap and the increase of personal entertainment forms. Furthermore, this development has negative effects on both the individual’s well-being and their families.
