JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Engineering Document Support staff you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to reviewing ECO (Engineering Change Order) and updating product information in global support services department in order to maintain serviceability (being able to provide necessary spare parts or service) to our customer's tools in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update product information in internal/external database systems.
- Review, revise and release product documentations and specifications for obsolescence replacements of legacy products such as engineering assemblies, cable harnesses, electrical components, and mechanical components.
- Review and verify documentations for Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Recheck and analyze the bill of materials (BOM) and product structure of parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
- Cooperate with other teams such as Sustaining Engineering, Documentation Support, Global Support Service, QA to control and release product documentaion onto the lifecycle management and manufacturing execution.
- Assist in publishing weekly and monthly reports of department performance in accordance to established standards.
