About The Job

In this newly created role, the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) will champion the DBS Mission and Vision, ensuring it is effectively communicated throughout the organization. The OIC will provide the region with efficient services that meet performance and quality standards, maintain best-in-class processes and systems, and align the local DBS strategy with the Group's vision.

Additionally, the OIC will build and develop talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through new technologies and processes.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership activities

• Implement the DBS strategy as defined by the DBS global Lead in the region
• Engage regional senior customers and stakeholders, and articulate the value and proposition for DBS
• Build trusted relationships with senior customers and stakeholders (markets, employees, functions, corporate & hubs) and ensure evolution of DBS is aligned with business needs
• Drive year on year service improvement and cost reduction ensuring best practice and encouraging innovation and automation
• Establish comprehensive DBS reporting & analytical capability to monitor all its activities
• Lead the development of local DBS capabilities required to deliver excellent customer service
• Create and maintain a work environment conducive to teamwork, creativity, quality, operational efficiency, and value acceleration as per Danone values and ways of working
• Monitor compliance and process performance, working with Risk, Compliance, internal control, and internal and external audit
• Oversee the compliance of tax and any statutory requirement
  
  

Interactions with stakeholders

• Facilitate & drive appropriate governance for DBS with Client Executive leadership
• Participate in relevant business governance bodies for process optimization
• Work with key business, functional and IS leaders to develop vision for the local DBS organization. Establish this service in a timely manner
• Manage local external supplier and third party relationships related to support/delivery of local DBS services
  
  

About you

Education

• Undergraduate Degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent)
• At least 5-8 years in accounting or reporting related function for multi-national companies
• 5 years in regional or local service delivery center experience preferred
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce
• Good command in both speaking and written English
