General Roles and Responsibilities of Senior Architect (Management Team)
1. To be able to manage and oversee at least 5 on-going projects, guiding and checking the status and progress with the project lead architect and offering advice and instructions to ensure the projects run smoothly, efficiently and within the financial, staff and time allocations.
2. To attend occasional CCM, SPM and TM (critical ones) with Client’s representatives, Contractors and other Consultants to be aware of the project situation and intervene when necessary to set the directions to move the work along in the right/proper way.
3. To be clear on key requirements/standards/deliverables of the project tasks so as to be able to guide the design and project architects effectively to achieve the desired result of the tasks.
4. To participate and assist in the day-to-day management of the office operation, i.e. manpower and project pairing, staff training, updating the project information/requirements i.e. code information, design and technical library, etc… To contribute toward efforts to improve aspects of work in the Company like business development, client management, company/project recognition (award & publication) staff management and reporting to Head Office

6. To represent RSP in industry forums/events/gatherings to broaden our exposure, recognition and network.
7. To deputize for the General Director in handling the office and running the business operation in the absence of the General Director (for the Director (Projects)). Together with the rest of the Management Team, to assist the General Director to manage the day-to-day operation of the Vietnam office.
8. To value-add whenever possible to the tasks requested/instructed by the General Director
9. To coach, guide and motivate the staff to perform their duties/work diligently to achieve/fulfill the task requirements in the most efficient and effective ways, adopting the “Do it Right the First Time” principle.
10. To serve as a confident role model and mentor to the younger staff in terms of good work habits, positive attitude and effective problem solver.
11. To be responsible and accountable for the projects and tasks overseen, in terms of delivering the desired results. To consult and seek clarifications from the General Director and Board of Management or Client’s Project Director for any difficulties, unclear intentions/course of action, etc… in order to fulfill and accomplish the required tasks and deliver the desired outcome.
