If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Manager, Tax at Mercedes-Benz Vietnam

What will you do?
This position includes 5 main scopes:

-Tax declaration (monthly withholding and year-end):
Coordinate and manage the Tax daily functioning,
Responsible for deferred tax accounting and domestic and international provisions.
Review corporate tax returns; evaluate the tax impact or proposed activities, transactions, policies, or procedure.
Research complex tax accounting issues and document
Oversee the review/ audit process by the external auditors.

-Tax Risk Management and Finance & Controlling Internal Control System (FC ICS):
Develop and implement policies and procedures
Estimate tax liability, advise accountancy staff and review contracts
Oversee the preparation and timely submission of statutory returns
Negotiate and discuss tax liability with relevant statutory bodies, optimizing the company's tax liabilities.
Implement and support the ICS controls.

-Management of external Tax consultants & Relationship management with authorities:
Draft the engagement letters and pre-discuss their contents with the tax consultant company.
Calculate and propose the fee structure of an engagement.
Verify the actual performance and feed-back on plan-actual deviations of performed and engaged service; feed-back the result to Chief accountant and CFO about the service quality.
Regularly consult, clarify, discuss, and escalate meeting regarding open issues with tax consultant and authorities on the status of open issues.

-Transfer price:
Main point of contact for Head Quarter for all Transfer Price (TP) documentation topics
Liaising and co-ordinate with TP service providers for all TP documentation matters
Review and alignment of local file and CbCR (Country by Country Report) with service providers and Head Quarter.
