A Cyber Security Engineer is the person responsible for ensuring that an organization's systems and data are protected from cyber threats and attacks. Duties include monitoring, analyzing, and implementing cybersecurity measures to protect critical information and ensure system availability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain network security measures to protect systems and data.
- Monitor and analyze network security incidents, identify sources and implement remedial measures.
- Perform periodic security checks and security risk assessments.
- Monitor network security systems to detect suspicious activities early.
- Propose and implement measures to improve network security based on new trends.
- Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Training and raising awareness about cybersecurity for employees.
- Provide suggestions for improving security processes and policies for the Board of Directors
- Participate in other assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Cyber Security or related Information Technology field.
- CEH, CHFI, OSCP, CISA, Sec+ certificates are preferred
- Have at least 2 years of working experience in the field of Cyber Security.
- Understanding of network knowledge, operating systems, and applications.
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO 27001 or CIS.
- Skills in analyzing incidents and solving network security problems.
- Skills in using network security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM
- Ability to work independently and well in groups.
- Patience and ability to adapt to constantly changing environments.
