Cocoa Project Coordinator will need to ensure the implementation of the Cacao-Trace program following the 4 pillars of the strategy:
1. Economically viable supply chain
2. Environment protection and global warming resilience
3. Superior Taste & consistent quality
4. Sustainable living

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of Cacao-Trace programs through quality data and analysis. Responsible for ensuring that all farmer data adheres to industry regulations and internal policies. Drive insights and analysis to improve farmer livelihoods within the cocoa supply chain and increase positive impact on the ground. Ensure compliance and accountability to Cacao-Trace standard and external audits.
The role is key contributor to cocoa sustainability across 10+ countries including Vietnam.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Digital data Collection and quality assurance:
a. Consolidate data pertaining to cocoa sustainability metrics, including data from farms, partners, and forest monitoring.
b. Cross-check data quality and inputs to ensure accuracy and consistency, related to cocoa farms across 10 countries/ partners.
c. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to rectify data discrepancies and improve data quality.
2. Data insights:
a. Analyze and interpret sustainability data to derive meaningful insights and trends.
b. Propose interventions derived from the local contexts and needs.
c. Conduct compliance checks to ensure no deforestation in cocoa production areas and social due diligence in line with EU regulations and others.
3. Cacao-Trace Audits and reporting
a. Support countries with applying the Cacao-Trace standard and drive continuous improvement through the Cacao-Trace audit process.
b. Key contract for external audit support, training, and web portal (the digital tool which manages data input and record keeping for annual audits).
c. Contribute to Cacao-Trace reporting, storytelling and customer specific program KPI’s.
