Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail- oriented and analytically minded Senior Finance Analyst to join our jewelry retail company. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial decision- making and performance analysis in our jewelry retail business. You will work closely with the finance team to provide accurate financial insights, forecasting, and reporting to help drive the company&039;s success and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and report on key financial performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for optimization.
- Analyze financial data, including sales, inventory, and expenses, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide pre & post- evaluation of promotional programs.
- Create ad- hoc reports and analysis as needed to support decision- making by management.
- Prepare and maintain financial database and forecasts to support budgeting and strategic planning.
- Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Inventory & Cost Management
- Analyze the cost structure of the jewelry retail business, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with department heads to track and control departmental expenses (Operating expenses)
- Assist in tracking and managing jewelry inventory, including analyzing stock levels, turnover rates, and optimizing reorder points.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to minimize excess inventory and maintain optimal stock levels.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, providing financial insights and data to support accurate and realistic financial plans.
- Continuously update and refine financial forecasts based on business performance and changing market conditions.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Preparing documentation to submit to the Department of Industry and Trade for promotion programs.
Other ad- hoc task from Line manager & Finance Director

Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively communicate financial insights to non- finance stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Proven experience as a finance analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry, ideally for candidates with 2- 3 years of experience in retail.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Understanding of the jewelry market and its specific challenges is a plus.
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and cost analysis.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
