1. Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and supervise Accommodation Warehouse team members to ensure high performance and teamwork.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure operational targets are met.
- Conduct regular team briefings and encourage continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, and HSE standards.
2. Material Planning & Coordination:
- Oversee material tracking and planning to ensure timely availability aligned with vessel production schedules.
- Ensure regular communication and alignment with Project, Vard Interior, Procurement, and Production teams.
- Supervise updates in ERP systems (Procurement Plan, Master File, etc.) and ensure accuracy of material data.
- Review and validate material requirement plans and reports prepared by team members.
- Escalate and follow up on critical material shortages or delays.
3. BOM & Documentation Control:
- Oversee the verification of Bill of Materials (BOMs), Purchase Orders (POs), and delivery documents.
- Ensure consistency and completeness in all material-related documentation, including Certificates, MDS, SDS, etc.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies in coordination with the Procurement and Engineering teams.
4. Warehouse Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor material usage status for each project and identify any variances from the BOM.
- Review consumable material usage and forecast demand to support procurement planning aligned with ship delivery schedules.
- Support the preparation of quarterly project material reports, import/export documentation, and inventory monitoring.
- Develop weekly material plans (inbound and outbound) and review lean planning activities.
- Supervise daily task planning and execution for warehouse staff.
- Oversee warehouse tools and equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan and ensure departmental ownership.
- Maintain ownership of all materials and facilities within the Accommodation Warehouse.• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in material control, warehouse, or procurement is an advantage.
• Skills & Competencies:
o Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
o High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (IFS preferred).
o Ability to interpret technical drawings and material specifications.
o Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
