*Job Overview* :
- As the Operations Manager for a large-scale furniture manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing various aspects of the production process. This multifaceted role involves managing production, factory layout, material control, quality control, and maintenance and engineering activities to ensure the efficient and high-quality operation of the facility.

*Key Responsibilities*:
1. Production Management:
• Ensure production plans, targets and deadlines are met.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Manage production teams to enhance productivity and streamline workflow.
2. Factory Layout and Optimization:
• Optimize the factory layout to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Continuous improvement to layout and workflow to enhance overall productivity and maximise output.
3. Material Control:
• Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance and inventory management of raw materials.
• Implement systems for efficient material handling and storage.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain.
• Manage material planning to ensure timely availability of materials to production.
4. Quality Control:
• Establish and enforce quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any quality issues.
5. Maintenance and Engineering:
• Oversee the development and execute preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to address technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the facility.
