Overview

We are looking for a Mid-level Java Developer with 2–4 years of experience to join our long-term projects. The successful candidate will primarily work with Java/Spring Boot to develop backend systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices, while collaborating with teams using other technologies such as Python, C#, and TypeScript.

• Working Hours: Vietnam Administrative Hours
• Office Presence: 3 days/week (at Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City offices)

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java/Spring Boot, ensuring high performance, stability, and scalability.
• Microservices: Participate in building and enhancing microservices architectures, including data design, inter-service communication, and external system integration.
• Polyglot Collaboration: Focus on Java while coordinating with or supporting components written in Python, C#, and TypeScript as required.
• Database Optimization: Develop and optimize MySQL database operations, ensuring data integrity and query efficiency.
• Team Synergy: Collaborate closely with Front-end, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Quality Control: Perform code reviews and write unit/integration tests to ensure system quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug production issues; propose long-term technical improvements.
• Strategic Planning: Engage in technical discussions, sprint planning, and process improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 2–4 years of backend development experience with Java as the primary language.
• Basic English understanding and communication.
• Deep proficiency in Java & Spring Boot (Spring MVC, Spring Data, and fundamental Spring Security).
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL or equivalent Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Familiarity or working knowledge of Python, C#, or TypeScript.
• Strong grasp of software development best practices (clean code, testing, version control/Git).
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in large-scale or long-term projects.
