* JOB DESCRIPTION
Line Manager: Deputy Head (Pastoral Care)
- Work with the pastoral and leadership team to create channels for pupils to raise their voice and share their inputs into the development of BCVN.
- Support school-wide efforts in raising global awareness of our pupils by improving intercultural competence and fostering global experience.
- Leads and/or supports the delivery of some strategic projects and high-profile events as requested.
- Becomes a pupil ambassador in school-wide projects to ensure our solutions and initiatives provide benefits and a better experience for pupils.
- Provides advice on the organization of the Pupil Council. Supports teachers to provide mentorship to students in the implementation of Pupil Council’s projects.
- Collect the lists of pupils and teachers to be honored on the wall of honour working with the Head Master.
- Partner with schools, domestically and abroad, for pupil exchange opportunities.
- Work with teachers to handle any pastoral or behavioural incidents which might arise.
- Work with the Deputy Head and leadership team to ensure effective implementation of the behavioural policy.
- Detect any risks of school safety and security; supervise the handling of school accidents and report to the Head Master who will report to the school board as appropriate;
- Coordinate with the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and the Head Master and make weekly and monthly reports to monitor pupil behaviour.
