Position: In-house Translator/Linguist in Wise-Concetti - Filipino Linguist 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a full-time, experienced PH Translator/Linguist to join our team. The role involves working on various projects, including the translation and localization of technical documentation, marketing materials, and user texts in fields such as IT, consumer electronics, telecommunications, medical, automotive, engineering, mechanization, and user interfaces for mobile and web applications. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Translating, editing, and proofreading from English into Filipino and vice versa. 
• Expressing source language in target language appropriately. 
• Maintaining file and glossary management after project management. 
• Arranging to translate large volumes of material and ensuring strict deadlines. 
• Reviewing the texts in line with clients’ guidelines and being responsible for quality assurance, consistency, and terminology management. 
• Keeping strictly confidential of the client’s information and not using them in any way. 

REQUIREMENT 

• Native Filipino speaker with strong command of English. 
• Degree in linguistic, translation or relevant qualification. 
• At least 2-year experience in translating texts from English into Filipino and vice versa, as well as editing and proofreading. 
• Terminology management and research skills. 
• Excellent computer skills - knowledge of several applications, platforms, hardware, mobile devices and internet technologies. 
• Detailed and service-minded and cultural issues awareness. 
• Ability to self-manage time, schedules, and multiple-task activities. 
• Ability to work under tight deadlines. 
• Ability to use various localization tools like SDL Studio, MemoQ, Phrase is preferred. 
• Ability to work both independently and within a team. 

REMUNERATION PACKAGE 

This is a full-time position. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer performance-based remuneration, and compensation options are negotiable & all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. 

Salary: 450 – 700 USD/month (negotiable depending on experience) 

All living costs in Vietnam fully covered by the company:
