ZIMAW IS HIRING | DEVOPS CUM BACKEND DEVELOPER

Onsite – Da Nang

Zimaw is looking for a DevOps cum Backend Developer — someone who can both build a solid backend system and ensure stable infrastructure operations for international projects.

Your responsibility

Backend Development (50%)

- Design and develop high-performance APIs with strong scalability.

- Design and maintain database structures (SQL/NoSQL), optimize queries, and handle large data volumes.

- Write Unit Tests and Integration Tests to ensure code quality before deployment.

- Collaborate closely with Frontend and Mobile teams to deliver new features.

- Research and apply new technologies to continuously improve system performance.

DevOps (50%)

- Operate and maintain servers (Cloud / On-premise), ensuring system uptime and stability.

- Perform regular backup and restore procedures.

- Design and standardize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).

- Set up monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) with early alert mechanisms.

- Implement security practices: firewall configuration, secrets/keys management, security patch updates, and protection against common attacks (DDoS, brute-force).

- Manage infrastructure costs and propose auto-scaling solutions to handle traffic growth.

What we’re looking for:

- 3–5 years of experience in Backend development and at least 2 years of hands-on DevOps experience.

- Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.

- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).

- Solid understanding of Docker; experience with Kubernetes (K8s) is a strong plus.

- Good command of Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS).

- Ability to write Bash or Python scripts for automation.

- Understanding of networking fundamentals: VPC, Subnet, Load Balancer, DNS, SSL/TLS.
